James Copple has a long and distinguished career in youth work, education, substance abuse, and crime and violence prevention. A nationally recognized speaker and writer in this field, Copple brings to the forefront decades of unparalleled expertise in policy formulation, strategic planning, sustainable development, law enforcement, coalition building, transformative training, and inspiring public speaking. 

Copple has authored 5 books and over 70 monographs, including facilitating and contributing to the President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing.

With a steadfast commitment to catalyzing impactful change, Copple’s leadership has left an indelible mark on communities worldwide. As a seasoned advocate for social justice and human rights, he embodies a rare blend of compassion, pragmatism, and strategic foresight, empowering individuals and organizations to address pressing challenges with creativity and resilience.

Copple is married, has 8 kids, 24 grandchildren, and loves sailing.
